There is a new provider of Helicopter rescue services currently operating throughout the Cape York and Torres Strait region.
Babcock have two brand-new Leonardo AW139 helicopters, based at Horn Island. Recently, Sea Swift have been able to assist Babcock, providing marine platforms to facilitate drill and training scenarios for their helicopter rescue crews.
This critical training ensures competencies are maintained, as well as giving realistic experience not only to their operators, but also our Sea Swift mariners based in the Torres Strait.
This coordinated effort between our companies has allowed for a strengthened relationship in the areas we share our critical operations.
