CAIRNS – General Hand

In the role you will be receiving, sorting, consolidating and dispatching general freight in accordance with Sea Swift procedures and standards. We are looking for a team player, someone who values safety highly and takes pride in the work they do. 

What you will be doing:

• Providing professional customer service
• Point of  sales 
• Processing Mixed pallets (breakdown)
• Prepping for load out i.e. wrapping and labelling pallets with stickers 
• General warehouse cleaning 

What we require:

• Warehouse experience essential
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Clear and legible handwriting
• Experience with cargo receiving consolidation and dispatching processes
• Proactive attitude towards safety
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Forklift (not essential)
