Administration Officer

Great opportunity to join our team in our Bamaga/Seisiad depot in a busy varied administration role.  Position is Full-Time Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work where required.
  
What you will be doing:

• Customer facing role, responsible for providing high levels of service to customers face to face and over the phone.
• Manage administration duties including but not limited to; freight manifesting, equipment tracking for voyages, freight bookings using Sea Swift specific programs, liaising with other depot regarding pick-ups, deliveries, and freight discrepancies.
• Contacting customers when freight is available for collection.
• Where required assisting with delivery of freight.

    
What experience we are looking for:

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• High level administration skills
• Accurate and attention to detail
• Well-developed time management and organization skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
• Experience in a previous administrative role highly regarded;
• Polite phone manner and Customer Service focused;
• Open car license (highly desirable).
