About the role:
The role will be responsible for the total management of Sea Swifts customers in their designated areas / portfolio.

  What will you be doing:
  • Lead point of contact for all customer account management matters for your territory;
  • Continually liaise with operational teams (Qld, NT and remote) to ensure cargo care processes and pickups are maintained;
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships;
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements, complete freight estimates when required;
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders;
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of cargo freight according to customer needs and objectives;
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales objectives;
  • Achieve targets and standards that support the attainment of the Business Development/Customer Service team objectives.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts);
  • Prepare reports on account status;
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and grow opportunities within territory;
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
Skills & experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, Salesforce and general computer skills;
  • Demonstrated experience and key strength with customer service interface;
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyse large amounts of data;
  • Well-developed customer service skills;
  • Work planning and time management skills;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Understanding of Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental principles.
