Sea Swift would like to inform our Northern Territory customers and clients that the company has successfully completed its move to our new main depot at Frances Bay.
Located at 10-24 Frances Bay Drive, the new depot represents Sea Swift’s next phase of investment and expansion in the Northern Territory.
The new depot provides additional capability and consolidates the company’s resources in one location, with all supplier deliveries including general freight and off-site receiving now occurring at the new Frances Bay depot.
Sea Swift CEO Fred White thanked staff for their hard work in completing the move in such a timely and coordinated fashion.
“Sea Swift prides itself on reliable, timely services so it was essential that the move to a consolidated depot at Frances Bay caused minimal disruption to our customers and our operations,” Mr White said.
“This move onto a larger site is part of our commitment to keeping Northern Australia connected while continuing the proud heritage of Perkins Shipping and Toll Marine Logistics.
“Ultimately, we will need to move out of this facility as we continue to grow so we are treating the new Frances Bay depot purely as an interim step.
“Our ultimate facility will be located on a new site in the Marine Industry Park at East Arm, and we will continue to engage actively with the NT Government and landholders in the region to identify, design, build, and move to what will become our ultimate facility over the next few years.”
“As we enter our 30th year of operation, we are determined to continue our reliable, sustainable service long into the future and this depot move is a key factor in delivering on that commitment.”
All freight will be required to be delivered/received at 10-24 Frances Bay Drive from Monday 27th February.
