Sea Swift is aiming to raise vital funds for drought-affected farmers across Australia as part of the nationwide Buy A Bale campaign.
The company, which has set up a fundraising page with the aim of raising a minimum of $5,000, has also donated a cabin on its popular Trinity Bay passenger cruise for a ‘Farmer wants a holiday’ through the charity Rural Aid, which runs the Buy A Bale campaign.
Since the drought appeal campaign began in June 2013, more than 160,000 bales of hay have been delivered across four states to support Aussie farmers and rural communities throughout Australia.
It provides meaningful support for farmers by delivering hay and other essential items to farmers who have no feed left for their cattle.
Sea Swift would like to thank Queensland Marine Master Simon Anderson for approaching the company’s Executive Team with this initiative, as well as being the first to donate ($300).
