Sea Swift is thrilled to announce a major naming rights sponsorship deal with Edmonton Storm Rugby League Football Club.
Sea Swift is the new major club sponsor for the Cairns District Rugby League club, which includes naming rights and ground advertising at the newly-developed Petersen Park grounds in Edmonton.
The deal will also help support the development of players at one of Far North Queensland's leading rugby league clubs.
Sea Swift Chief Executive Officer Fred White said Sea Swift had a proud record of supporting local communities, and was thrilled to support a sporting organisation such as Edmonton Storm.
“Sea Swift has been proudly servicing remote communities in northern Australia for the past 30 years, and we always play an active role in the communities where we operate,” Mr White said.
“We wish Edmonton Storm all the best for the 2018 season.”
The northern Australia shipping company operates throughout the region’s remote coastal and island communities, with depots in Cairns, Weipa, Seisia, Horn Island, and Thursday Island in Queensland, and Darwin, Gove and Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory.
Sea Swift has more than 30 years of experience providing essential services and project freight across the region with more than 400 staff and 30 vessels, and makes a significant contribution to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the region.
