Sea Swift supports local schools Tagai State College and Trinity Bay College to give students an understanding of working for Sea Swift.
Sea Swift offers both theoretical and practical training and development in two streams - Officers & Chief Engineers. Program participants that complete the Marine Cadetships will exit as either a Master IV or MED I. Sea Swift has developed this program to specifically train and develop employees specifically for our requirements.

With more than 25 vessels, 200 pieces of mobile equipment and 1000 pieces of freight handling equipment it is vital that we have the required trades in-house to ensure everyone's freight arrives on time. There are a number of trades that apprenticeship opportunities come up in from diesel fitting, boilermaking, electricians and refrigeration mechanics from time to time depending on operational requirements.
Sea Swift conducts internal Leadership Training for staff in leadership and decision making positions. This involves in-depth training and development across the key areas of legal, risk management, coaching, role of a leader, accountability and applied safety leadership for the right people.
Includes accredited courses on First Aid, Dangerous Goods Handling & Storage, Forklift Licence, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Rigging, Crane Operation, MR/HR/MC Truck Licences, Lashing, STCW95, Customer Service Training and many more.
