Sea Swift have successfully celebrated our 30-year Anniversary hosting three major events in Queensland and the Northern Territory to celebrate a fantastic story of a local business that has innovated and evolved in a constricting coastal shipping market by providing local solutions and commitment to local businesses and communities. These events have been proudly supported by a number of our key business partners.
These events have showcased local artwork, local produce and local entertainment talent. Details for each of the events are:
Cairns - Held at Cairns Convention Centre on 12 May 2017 with Guest MC Rupert McCall. This event hosted approximately 300 guests with a mix of staff, customers and suppliers. Local entertainers providing the perfect tone for the evening with a big closing act by The Black Sorrows. During the event, recognition awards were presented to employees with over 10 years consecutive service to Sea Swift with Bob O'Halloran, Sea Swift's longest serving employee receiving recognition for his 30th year of service - well done to all!

Opening Christine's performance were the children from QTOWN Mura Buai Kebileh who started this surprise act with a very special cultural dance performance.
Darwin - Recently held at the Darwin Parliament House on 28 June 2017, this cocktail event was an opportunity for Sea Swift to outline our commitment to the ongoing legacy of Perkins/Toll, the investment made in the Territory and the future for Sea Swift going forward. The awards here were a little different to prior events as we gave recognition to our staff who had contributed their time to businesses in the industry of which Sea Swift have acquired with a combined service of over 10 years. We named this award 'Recognition of service within the industry'.
All three Events have provided the perfect opportunity for Sea Swift to recognise long-term employees, long-term customers and long-term suppliers for all of the effort and commitment it has taken for a local entrepreneurial company to establish and maintain a successful and sustainable enterprise to ensure essential service provision to the coastal and island communities of Northern Australia.
We would like to thank our partners for their contribution and look forward to building ever stronger relationships moving forward.
