Adventure Cruise update

24 February 2022

Sea Swift would like to provide an update to all our valued passengers, agents, tour operators, and accommodation providers regarding our Adventure Cruise service in Far North Queensland.

Sea Swift previously announced that we were hopeful of resuming our cruises in mid-2022. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is with regret that we have now decided to recommence our cruises in 2023. We will continue to look at opportunities to recommence as early as possible, but we believe it is in the best interests of all for Sea Swift to comply with the travel limitations currently in place for the Torres Strait.

This decision has been made in response to the continued uncertainty with the COVID-19 variant Omicron, and any possible subsequent variants which may follow. Sea Swift will continue to review how COVID-19 impacts Australia throughout the coming months.

The safety, health and wellbeing of our employees, passengers, and the remote communities we service are still our number one priority, and we do appreciate your understanding, loyalty, and patience during this time of uncertainty.

Sea Swift will continue to monitor, and implement where required, all Government directives.

We will, of course, provide updates where required should the situation change.

We regret any inconvenience these continuing delays will cause and thank you for your understanding.

We look forward to the return of greater certainty regarding travel across Australia, and to welcoming you all back in 2023.

Again, we thank you for your cooperation, patience, and support.
