COMING SOON: Horn Island Fuel Station

14 August 2019

Sea Swift is proud to announce a new fuel station on Horn Island which is scheduled to open by the end of 2019.

Construction began this month on the new service station, which will be open seven days a week.

Sea Swift General Manager Queensland Operations Peter Domenighini said the new Sea Swift Horn Island Fuel Station will be located opposite the local supermarket and post office.

“This will create a small shopping centre, where one side of the road is food and a supermarket, and the other side of the road is fuel,” said Mr Domenighini.

“The new site is located away from our current operation, making it safer for the public to access.

“It will also be more environmentally friendly, with tanks self-bunded to provide protection against fuel leaks.

“The area where the public fuel their vehicles will also be covered, providing protection from the weather.”

Mr Domenighini added that there will be no need to pre-purchase fuel cards at the new service station, with individuals able to use their debit or credit card.

“The new fuel delivery system will also be fully automated, allowing for longer trading hours,” he said.

The new Sea Swift Horn Island Fuel Station will operate 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.
